我在一个公立高中教书，由于加州财政赤字，我们已经7年没有加薪了，最近几年还被逼休假（furlough)，等于减薪。今年政府的教育经费增加了很多，别的学区都加薪了，唯有我们的不肯，所以老师们到学区教育委员会的公开会议上抗议。事后竟然有委员问老师，你们都真的想加薪吗？来开会的都只是些激进分子吧？

Do all the teachers really want a raise?   Or is it just the "fringes" that are attending board meetings?
