Let up

let up 两个很简单的字合起来，变得跟 let 和 up 好像都没有直接的关系，
let up = reduce in pace, force, or intensity; slow down.  松懈，放缓，减弱。

运动员想有好成绩，就得一直坚持不懈地苦练，比赛时，特别是在奥运，真的一点都不能松劲。 They never let up.

Afterthought

Afterthought 原意是事后的考虑或想法，最近发现人也可以是个afterthought。本届奥运美国女子体操队的队长Aly Raisman 原来不在国家队的首选名单里，是最后入队者，She was an afterthought on Team USA, 结果她拿了两个金、一个铜牌。人生真的就是靠机缘。
那么，"I don't want to be your afterthought." 中文该怎么译呢？
