威廉王子马上要结婚了，看到准新娘的照片，觉得她笑得特别甜，挺可爱的。有人说喜欢她因为"She is bland." bland 指食物“淡而无味的”，那天跟朋友吃汤面，她说"This noodle is very bland." Kate Middleton 当然不是淡而无味。我想说她很平和就对了。但她绝不是好欺负的"She is definitely not a pushover."
从平民(commoner)上升为皇室成员，生活自然与众不同，很多常规不能套用 - "Being a royal means all the usual bets are off." All the bets are off 意指未来无法预测，不必下睹注。
婚礼常用 wedding 一词, 报上也用 “nuptial”, 不知二者有区别否？
